Kairat, based in Kazakhstan, assists Mr. Frosch in managing operations there. He led the Astana Center of Sustainable Development and was Vice Chairman of KaznexInvest, focusing on non-commodity export promotion. Kairat also advised the Minister of Investment and developed a UN-recognized Master Plan for sugar production. He graduated from Michigan State University and Florida Atlantic University on a Presidential Scholarship.
Kairat is based in Kazakhstan and will assist Mr. Frosch in managing the Company’s operations there.
Kairat had a leading role in the Astana Center of Sustainable Development, under the office of Economic Affairs and Budgetary Planning of Astana Municipality, where he was in charge of analytical research in the field of social and economical development, monitoring and consulting to the Astana City Municipality.
He was the former Vice Chairman of KaznexInvest National Export and Investment Agency, under the Ministry of Investments and Development. His responsibilities included the supervision and direction of the Investment Agency, development and promotion of non-commodity exports to non-commodity industries.
Kairat was also an advisor to the Minister of Investment. Before that, he was a leader in the Center for Economic Policy of the Agro-Industrial Complex under the Ministry of Agriculture. He was responsible for Development of the Master Plan titled “Sugar Production from Sugar Beet in the RoK”, which was recognized as the best of 16 Master Plans submitted to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.
Kairat began his career in Kazakhstan as Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Analysis and was directly responsible for the development of Municipal Anti-Crisis Program of 2008, waste management projects, housing and communal Services, and other Municipal Projects.
Kairat graduated from Michigan State University and Florida Atlantic University, attending both on a Republic of Kazakhstan Presidential Scholarship.
