Yerlan graduated from Alma Ata Power Engineering Institute, as an electrical engineer with a degree in Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Units and Technological Complexes. After graduating in 1992, Yerlan worked as a complete equipment engineer in National Holding Company "Kaz.akbgaz". From 993 until 2007 he occupied managerial positions in different private and governmental organizations. In July 2007 he left position as CEO Karaganda Zhylu LLP and took on a new challenge in his career by becoming Deputy Akim in the Karaganda region.
After position of Deputy Akim, Yerlan was appointed as Managing Partner in investment fund, Fallah Partners. At that time, he was also an independent director as a member of the Board of Directors of Samruk-Energo JSC. Gaining huge experience in investments and management, he was actively engaged in his lifetime passion - business. In 2011 he started his own company.
In 2012 Mr. Issekeshev established his first private entity , ISS Corporation, LLP and was Chairman of the board of Directors. Today "ISS Corporation" is a multi-business holding company. Yerlan brings technological, engineering and political science expertise to SoilPoint.
