Maurice was a founding partner in Azura Group Pte Ltd, a boutique global trading and investment firm based in Singapore engaged in energy products, metals and minerals, agricultural products and other commodities, as well as investing in infrastructure, natural resources, and energy products worldwide.
He has more than 12 years of experience securing and developing natural resource assets in Kazakhstan and has developed favorable working relationships with relevant government ministries.
He successfully secured the Company’s concession to the Aktobe mine from government and private Kazakh investors, obtained final approval from the Governor of Aktobe region, and from the Kazakhstan Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure of the RK for the transfer of the mine to Aktobe Humic LLP.
Maurice began his career as a successful real estate developer in Southern California.
He will be based in the United States and will divide his time between the US, UK, Africa and Kazakhstan.
