Raymond M. “Shon” Craig III has built a distinguished career grounded in adaptability, innovation, and leadership. After graduating from college, Shon entered the U.S. Army, where he honed his leadership and versatile skill set through tactical tours with the U.S. Special Forces.

Over a 21-year career as an officer, he developed innovative problem-solving abilities while executing numerous strategic joint missions across the globe.
Shon transitioned to the private sector, where he applied his entrepreneurial spirit to address critical defense needs.

He established the first defense cooperative agreement between the United States and South Africa, resulting in the creation of the “Husky” – the most survivable military vehicle in existence. This groundbreaking vehicle has successfully encountered over 7,500 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and landmine events, providing efficient, high-speed route clearance in contested environments and significantly contributing to saving lives and reducing the duration of conflicts.

In addition to his defense endeavours, Shon is an accomplished restaurateur. He has built and operates several high-end restaurants in Charleston and Tampa, and he is a partner in a national restaurant franchise, owning establishments in various cities across Florida.
As a licensed pilot, Shon owns several amphibious airplanes, including a vintage 1946 G44 Widgeon, formerly used by the U.S. Navy for anti-submarine warfare.
